Toronto based publisher 2 For Life Media wanted to put a new-media spin on their couples lifestyle quarterly 2Magazine. Their recurring Couple Makeover editorial provided the perfect platform to adapt into a branded web series. Each installment features a new couple as they experience the thrills of a fashion and style makeover while being professionally photographed in exotic locations. VMG devised a customized ad integration strategy for the program, working with 2’s sponsors to create sponsor post-roll, pre-roll, product placement and even original ad content for sponsors such as Crest and Calvin Klein. The series has a broad online distribution and was recently picked up by Verizon’s V-Cast, a mobile network that distributes video content to millions of Verizon wireless customers. 2’s Couple Makeover currently has a cumulative view count of 1.2 million and growing, and VMG has the bragging rights of producing the first Canadian reality series exclusively for online audiences.
