Research In Motion and VMG are no strangers to the demands of today’s fast paced mobile race, and RIM's AT&T team turned to VMG to produce 3D animated launch videos for BlackBerry devices released on the network.
To promote these new models, VMG produced in-store digital signage content for U.S. AT&T stores to highlight key features of each new device. A repurposed version of this content was also distributed to all AT&T sales reps via their mobile devices to build buzz and establish product knowledge prior to each launch. The custom delivery platform detected media-enabled devices from RIM and other manufacturers, and delivered the videos using compression formats and streaming technologies tailored to each device.
VMG also assists RIM in the promotion of other product videos on YouTube, ensuring those videos reach key influencers and exceed viewership targets.
